Meet Nestor
Our pet transport driver!
My name is Nestor Ortiz. I work at rfrd as the facility coordinator, raw food delivery driver and I also do pet transports. I’ve been working with the company for about two years now. I’ve been in the pet transport business for over a year and it’s amazing. I love being able to travel and making sure that every dog is being well taken care of like if it were my own. We take our time to make sure every pet has a smooth and safe transport. I like to make sure that every pet gets the attention it deserves in our care so he they can enjoy the trip and arrive home safely. It warms my heart when I can bond with a pet on the transport it just makes the trip that much better and really worth it. I have a pet of my own, Taylor. I rescued her about 12 years ago and she’s been my inspiration to contribute and help on anyway I can in the dog business. One of my favorite experiences on a transport was when one of my pet client jumped down from their bed to mine in our hotel room and slept next to me. It reminded me of my dog Taylor and it just made it that more special since she was not traveling with me.
